... a little of this and a little of that.

Keep the Shiny Side Up

and the Rubber Side Down.

In June 2007, I became the proud owner of my very own shiny Chopper Blue 2005 Harley-Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider motorcycle. The only thing I had to do was … LEARN HOW TO RIDE IT!

Ours friends, were moving from Colorado back to Montreal, they decided to sell both their Harley’s before they left. My husband, Bryan, sent me an email about Sylvie’s bike and I wanted it, especially since the Harley had been customized to fit a shorter lady… I’m only 5’2, same as Sylvie!

I’ve always wanted to ride my own, instead of riding on the back of Bryan’s motorcycle. He was quite surprised with my decision. I didn’t want to be 80 years old, telling my grandkids “I wish I learned how to ride that Harley” and regretting it.

After a few weeks of Bryan giving me lessons at the school parking lot, I took the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) course, passed the driving and written test. I was then able to get an ‘M’ endorsement added to my Colorado Driver's License.

In May of 2019, I became a proud owner of a 2019 Harley Davidson Tri Glide Ultra with only 10 miles. I fell in love with the color immediately, Wicked Red & Barracuda Silver, it’s the perfect red… the color of defiance. I’ve never drove a three-wheeled motorcycle and did not drive it until that evening after purchase, thank goodness Bryan drove it from the dealership. Now, the only thing I had to do was… LEARN TO RIDE IT!

I have come across many great women who ride and made some long-lasting friendships. I have gone on many enjoyable road trips with my husband and friends. Purchasing the motorcycle was one of the best decisions I made… no regrets.

I’ve just been so excited about my motorcycle adventures that I wanted to share. I still have many rides to post and hopefully I can add them added soon. If you interested in my adventures, please check out the links below.
