Inky Monthly Wrap-up (November 2019)

Welcome to my November 2019 Wrap-up! A Monthly Wrap-up is exactly what it sounds like, a summary of the month. I’ll be recapping books I read, purchased/borrowed, posts of the month, a little bit of what’s going on outside the blog.

I can’t believe that November has passed. I had a good reading month, but I’m a bit disappointed that I didn’t get more in. Maybe, I’m disappointed because seven of the books I read this month weren’t really all that great. Hopefully in December the books I pick up will be better.

As I mentioned in September, my daughter moved back home. The couple that she was renting a room from had separated for a bit. Fur baby kitty Bean had to stay at a friend’s house, since my husband and I are allergic to cats. Now, Bean has been living with us for the past month. She came to our house to recover from her spayed surgery, and the friend who Bean was staying with was no longer able to keep her.

It’s been an adjustment having a cat in the house, especially with the allergies. I’ve had a cough and a bit sneezy since she’s been here. My husband’s allergies are better than we expected. He and Bean have bonded… he wants to keep her!

Bean is such a joy to watch, especially when she teases Avery. She also figured out early on that Toby is blind, she is careful around him and doesn’t get all wild crazy when Toby approaches her. It’s a bit strange watching her walk on the desktop or end tables. I’m okay with that, but she is not ever allowed on the kitchen table or counters… no way!

I have a huge ride planned for the upcoming year. More news on that later, but I’m getting excited!

  1. What an adorable kitty! I hope that you don't have more problems with your allergies but definitely understand how easy it would be to fall for that sweetie :) You had a fantastic reading month! 19 books is amazing but it is a bummer that you didn't love all of them. I look forward to hearing your plans for the big ride!

    1. It's definitely going to be hard to see Bean leave, we're getting very attached to her. I'm excited about the upcoming ride, so far I'm barley planning the route. Thanks for visiting Carole.
