Inky's Monthly Wrap-up (September 2019)

Welcome to my September 2019 Wrap-up! A Monthly Wrap-up is exactly what it sounds like, a summary of the month. I’ll be recapping books I read, purchased/borrowed, posts of the month, a little bit of what’s going on outside the blog.

September was a fantastic reading month. I was quite surprised that I was able to go through so many books/audiobooks since September was a busy month for me.

I renewed my membership to Women on Wheels and attended the Mountain Shadow Riders chapter meeting. It was wonderful to see all the ladies and meet some new members. After the meeting a group of us rode out to Calhan to visit the Paint Mines Interpretive Park.

We also had family come to visit. It was great spending time and catching up. It is always work once everyone leaves, washing sheets, blankets, and cleaning bathrooms. Finally, it was time to relax!

My daughter moved back home. The couple that she was renting a room from had separated for a bit. Fur baby kitty Bean had to stay at a friend’s house, since my husband and I are allergic to cats. Riley misses her terribly. I completely understand, I have a hard time being away from my fur babies when they go to the groomers. The couple is back together and once again they are planning on moving into a new apartment soon.

After graduating from AF Basic Training last month, my son Austin is still in Texas. He changed his career field, going from SERE’s to Aerospace Medical Technician. He wanted a career field that he can do after his Air Force commitment, and one that he can work his school schedule around. Hopefully we’ll be able to see him during the holidays.

I’m still blogging to myself, as Inky Impressions is still set to private… ha and I still haven’t started blogging about the new trike… hopefully soon! Even though I’m still set to private, I’m still visiting and commenting on other blogs that I do enjoy reading.
