September 2018 Monthly Wrap-up

Welcome to my September 2018 Wrap-up! A Monthly Wrap-up is exactly what it sounds like, a summary of the month. I’ll be recapping books I read, purchased/borrowed, posts of the month, a little bit of what’s going on outside the blog. I’m linking this post to the Monthly Wrap-up at Feed Your Fiction Addiction, hosted by Nicole.

I can’t believe that September has ended, and October is upon us. The cooler weather has found its way to Colorado. It’s nice to have the windows open and let the fresh breeze in. Autumn is my favorite time of year and all my favorite goodies come out, pumpkin spice everything and eggnog.

I had an okay reading month but, my goal for October is to read more books than I purchase. Hopefully it’s not too difficult, I have my eye on a few books that will be released soon.

    1. I guess I did have a good reading month. When I was posting this I didn't think I did all that great. Maybe because I'm lacking on blogging posts! Have a wonderful day.

    1. I'm also looking forward to reading Time's Convert, but I'm not sure if I should read A Discovery of Witches first. Have a great day Donna.

  5. I've only read City of Heavenly Fire, out of all of those - it reminds me, I cannot wait for Queen of Air and Darkness!
And I loove the Wildcard cover, so pretty.

That's a very diverse collection of books, btw. more interesting than mine for sure, cause I've mostly been reading Anita Blake novels (not an experience I'd repeat).

    1. I do enjoy vampires and I've heard wonderful things about Anita Blake, I may have to add the first book to my list. Enjoy your day.

  6. Oooo good luck! I think I broke my goal already because 3 books have been purchased on sale and I've read um... 0 so far?

I am SO happy for the cool weather, even though Missouri still has miserable weather that's cool in the morning but humid in the afternoon - I just want hoodie weather already so I can snuggle in my hoodie 24/7, haha. I have NOT read any of the books you read in September, though I have plans to hopefully read Warcross and then Wildcard (that might be a lie).

Hope you have a great October - I'm sure you'll read more than you purchase! ;)

    1. I'm just as terrible. I ordered a shower curtain from Amazon and had to order more to get free shipping. Of course I added books to my cart! I'm going to try really hard to keep my incoming books manageable.

We have a cool front moving in tonight, hopefully it'll make it's was to Missouri in a couple days to help cool you off.

  8. Ha! I love that your goal is to read more than you purchase---that can be tough some months! I'm jealous that you live in Colorado; that's definitely my favorite state (at least out of the ones I've visited).

    1. I'm really trying to read the books I purchase before I buy more, you're correct it is difficult. I think my purchasing habit started when I started watching You Tube, I felt like I had to have all the latest books. Plus I have no control!

I love Colorado too and couldn't imagine living any where else. Although we lived in Spokane for a bit, if I had to move... it would be to Washington state. Have a great day Nicole.

  9. Colorado is so gorgeous, especially when we traveled up into the mountains. I heard snow in your weather forecast and from other people on line too. Wildcard is a must read book for me. I am hoping to receive it for my birthday. I haven't read any of the books you read, but my favorite September book was The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.
