Stacking the Shelves #38

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews and co-hosted by Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves; may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course eBooks. All book titles I have listed will link you to Goodreads.

I was out and about and had some time to spare, I made a stop at Barnes & Noble to browse the bargain book section. These are the books I came home with, only two from the bargain section.

Promised (One Night #1) by Jodi Ellen Malpas
Denied (One Night #2) by Jodi Ellen Malpas
One Night:Unveiled (One Night #3) by Jodi Ellen Malpas
The Barefoot Queen by Ildefonso Falcones
The Orphan's Tale by Pam Jenoff

There is this unique used bookstore in downtown Colorado Springs that I enjoy visiting. It’s an old warehouse and every so often you’ll see a cat walking or sitting atop the bookshelves meowing. Even though I’m allergic to cats, it is always wonderful to see them. I keep a written list (yes, I’m old school) of books that I’m on the lookout for when I visited used bookstores, this time around I found four from my list and one that I had previous read on Kindle and enjoyed.

A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick
Bastard Out of Carolina by Dorothy Allison
Devil May Cry (Dark-Hunter #11) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay
Never Knowing by Chevy Stevens

These are the two audiobooks that I borrowed from the library. I have books two & three of The Lone City series that I purchased from Book Outlet awhile back. I was waiting to get book one but, saw it available on audio at the library. I really liked the first book and decided to continue with the series on audio.

Read: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Have you read any of these books? Please let me know what you thought of them. Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful day.
