Inky Edition of the Sunday Post #7

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about ourselves and what is coming up on your blog for the week.

What I read this past week:

What I am currently reading:

The Black Key (The Lone City #3) by Amy Ewing (audio-book)

What I added to my shelves this week:

Stacking the Shelves #39

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews and co-hosted by Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves; may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in a store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course eBooks.

I’m excited because this week I didn’t purchase any books, even though I was tempted many times. The two books that I did add to my shelves this week are both audio-books borrowed from the library.

Last week on Inky Impressions:

Everyday Life:

On Tuesday I was at the dentist once again, this time I was able to get my permanent filling on the root canal that was infected about a six weeks ago. I’m so happy all those visits are finished and thank goodness we have dental insurance.

I finally had a chance to go see Fifty Shades Freed at the movie theater. I couldn’t make it with my motorcycle group ladies. I was planning on going by myself until my sister volunteered to go along with me. She’s not a fan of the books or movies, chances are she will use it against me and drag me to see a sci-fi movie with her. I’m grateful I have my sister living nearby, we get together at least a couple times a week.

This week the fur babies and I are spending time with my parents in Wyoming. I usually try to visit them monthly now that they are older. I’m very blessed that I don’t have to work, I can be away from home for about a week until my family starts to miss me. I tell everyone I’m still on maternity leave, my daughter is now 22. 😉

Some Cuteness:

I was going through some older photos the other day and I came across this photo of our fur baby Toby when he was a puppy. He had taken my daughters childhood blanket from her room and dragged it around the house, hoping no one will notice him.

Thank you for visiting and have a wonderful week.

I really like that cover for Murder of Crows. I'm not a huge fan of the illustrations on the ones I read. Meg looked a lil funny on those covers.

    1. When I first saw this cover, I actually thought the feathers near her head were horns. I had to enlarge the photo, and I was so wrong. Have a great day Kristin.

  4. Nice that you were able to get away, and yay for the dentist thing being over. That's always a good feeling! And The Cruel Prince has caught my eye, I keep seeing it pop up and it does sound good. I may have to try that one. I've been wanting to try Holly B anyway...

    1. I'm glad the dentists appointments are over too. I only read The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black, about vampires, I enjoyed it. I'm happy I picked this one up and I'm very much looking forward reading more from her. Have a great day Greg.

  8. Oooh, Broken Juliet has been on my TBR since I read Bad Romeo but it's now been so long I'll need to re-read Bad Romeo before I dive in, I think... I remember really liking Bad Romeo so it shouldn't be a hardship. :)
