If anyone ever said being an adult was easy, they hadn't been one long enough.

Diana Casillas can admit it: she doesn't know what the hell she's doing half the time. How she's made it through the last two years of her life without killing anyone is nothing short of a miracle. Being a grown-up wasn’t supposed to be so hard.

With a new house, two little boys she inherited the most painful possible way, a giant dog, a job she usually loves, more than enough family, and friends, she has almost everything she could ever ask for.

Except for a boyfriend.

Or a husband.

But who needs either one of those?

My thoughts…

I loved Wait for It, everything about it - the slow burn romance.

Since her brother's death, Diana Casillas has been raising her two young nephews, Josh and Louie, and they move into a new neighborhood.

Her neighbor, Dallas Walker, might have the most beautiful eyes and has a body of a calendar model but he is married, pursuing a divorce.  It's not like he's interested in her anyway. He treats her like she's the plague when she's around. She hasn't even done anything to him.  Despite his lukewarm attitude towards her, he's kind to her boys.

Because Dallas is the coach for Josh’s baseball team, he was supportive and understanding and once he got to know Diana, over time they eventually find their way into a friendship.

I love a great relationship buildup and Mariana Zapata's books are always a favorite, her books are something to look forward to.

Happy Reading ~ Jovi
