A little of this and a little of that.

No stamping today…

No stamping today… I had every intention to make a few cards but once I starting rearranging some stamps I decided to reorganize all my stamps, shelves and papers. After everything was nicely put away and organized I addressed some cards for RAKs. Once I was finished with that my hands were hurting I couldn’t stamp a thing. For the past few days I’ve been having joint pain in my hands and it’s usually worst in the morning. If this keeps up I’ll have to make a doctor’s appointment.

Here are two cards that I finished a couple days ago. For both cards I used one of the newer Reflection Kits from Close to My Heart, Aspen. This is my redo of my mousey card and for this card I used the image Sleigh Ride from Great Impressions. I was so delighted when I found this Snowflake Cuttlebug Folder in with my other embossing folders. I bought it last Spring and kind of forgot that I had it... that happens a lot here. I used a sanding block over the snowflakes which exposed the white core of the cardstock.

For the second card I used the image Sittin’ Petey from Inky Antics. I used sandpaper to distress the Bamboo cardstock, which also has a white core. I added Glossy Accents to the ice cube and Fun Flock to the pompom on Petey’s hat. I don’t particularly care for penguins but I couldn’t pass up getting the Petey stamps from Inky Antics. You’ll see more of Petey in upcoming months. Thanks for visiting ~ Jovi
