First Ride of 08

Today I rode along with some members of Mountain Shadow Riders (MSR) for our first ride of 2008! The temperature was in the mid 50’s which was nice, but we also had gusts of wind at times that were close to 50 mph. I discovered I hate riding in the wind! After our ride we enjoyed each others company over lunch. It was great chatting with the ladies… and gents.

Here are a few pictures from today (click for a larger image).

  1. My husband and I had our first ride of the year yesterday, too! We're in Missouri (but love, love, love Colorado and hope to visit once again this summer). I came here from Biker Betty's blog.

  2. Oh how I love being on the back of a bike. I can't imagine what it must be like to drive one. You look as though you had a blast! Be careful of those strong winds. ;)Thanks so much for sharing your adventures and your pictures.

  3. Sounds like a great day - we have had a horribly cold December, and still too much ice and mush on the roads to dare take a ride... I just wanted to say hi, I just found your blog through BikerBetty's site and am really enjoying reading all your stuff - LOVE the creative stamping too!! Take care, ride safe - hope to see you on the road! ~ Janet at

  4. Great photos! Oh my husband is going to be so jealous when he sees this post. He "thought" about riding yesterday but his bike is in storage and we have mountains of snow out...but the roads were clear and the temps above freezing.

  5. What a blast Jovi-and I LOVE your new helmet as well!

  6. Even though it was a short ride, it was a lot of fun. Just what I needed between snow storms, lol. It was great getting caught up with you and the others.

    See you Saturday,
    Biker Betty :)

PS: I love your stamping creations!!!
