A little of this and a little of that.

Red Breasted Nuthatch

I bought some Cuttlebug Folders awhile back from All That Scraps. Service from All That Scraps was the best ever, fast shipping and if you spent over $10 shipping is free! I think I had these Cuttlebug folders since the beginning of March and I finally made a card using one (gasp).

This is a thank you card I made for my cousin Tomas. I had every intention to make a masculine card… it’s just so difficult for me. Hopefully he wouldn’t think the card is girly with the swirls and organdy ribbon.

Red Breasted Nuthatch
Stamps: All Things of Nature (TAC) ~ Ink: Noir Palette ~ Paper: Neutral, Cocoa, Twilight, Simple Pleasures Paper Pack (all from CTMH) ~ Blue Organdy Ribbon, Brown Brads, D’VineSwirl Cuttlebug Folder, Chalk, Prismacolor Pencils & Gamsol

Heidi tagged me to tell 7 tidbits about myself and then I tag 7 more people to do the same. I feel more comfortable about this tag game!

1. I don’t like to have my neck touched by anyone and I don’t like tight things around my neck (turtlenecks, scarfs, or chokers). I get nervous when I go to the dentist and the hygienist puts that little bib thingy around my neck.

2. My favorite song is In The Shape Of A Heart, by Jackson Browne. When Bryan and I were dating he bought me a ruby necklace, the ruby was in the shape of a heart.

3. I enjoy reading True Crime books. I’ve read all of Ann Rule’s books twice.

4. I grew up in a Spanish speaking house… and now I can’t speak Spanish as good as I would like or as I should!

5. I’m the youngest of five, three brothers and one sister. One of my brothers is mentally ill, he suffers from Schizophrenia.

6. I prefer dogs over cats. Not that I don’t like cats, we had them growing up. It’s just now I’m allergic to them.

7. I love to spend time with my family, hiking, camping or doing our latest adventure geocaching (GPS stash hunts).

Let’s see… I’ll tag the following for some tidbits:

#1 made me laugh!! In your profile picture, it looks like you're wearing a *turtleneck*! Heehee.

I love #2, too! I used to own that song. Think I'll go find it and listen to it again.

#3...Ann Rule is AWESOME!!! I love her books -- very facinating.

    Good to 'meet' you! :)

  7. This card is beautimous, Jovi!!! WOW! Your coloring is lovely!
