Stacking the Shelves #22

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews and co-hosted by Reading Reality. It’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves; may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course eBooks.

It has been a few weeks since I participated in Staking the Shelves, mainly because it’s has been an emotional couple of weeks since our fur baby Jake passed away and I just haven’t been very motivated to do much blogging. I’m a bit behind on writing reviews for books that I’ve read and for past motorcycle trips, hopefully in the next couple of weeks I’ll catch back up.

These are the books I added the past few weeks, I’m not going to add a synopsis for each book, but all book links will take you to Goodreads.

I realize that Stacking the Shelves is weekly, but for now I’m going to try for a monthly post. In the upcoming new year, I would like to read the books that I have purchased. I need to begin dwindling down my every growing ‘to be read’ list, as of today I currently have 538 Kindle books and 190 physical books that I own and still have not read. With that said, I will continue to visit other STS participating blogs weekly and try to leave comment.

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has added to their shelves this week and if you’ve read any of the books I have listed, please let me know what you thought of them.

Have a wonderful week and thank you for visiting. -J

  1. Ooooo, lots of romance! I'm curious about Kendall Ryan's latest book. I think I have one of her older books but I've not read it (yet). She is quite popular in the romance world so one day I will get to one of her books. :D I hope you enjoy all of your new additions!

Have a fabulous week, Jovita. =)

    Check out my STS post!

    1. Kendall Ryan's books have always been some of my favorite romance, although her last two were just okay for me, maybe it's an age thing for me. Thanks for visiting Alyssa, I hope you have a great week as well.

  3. I am so sorry about your fur baby Jake, Jovita. My heart aches for you! I still get sad thinking of my dog who died four years ago. They are such an important part of our lives and we love them so.

I have a copy of Beneath a Scarlet Sky and hope you enjoyed it. Melanie Shawn is an author I keep meaning to try. And I just love Patricia Briggs's books.

I hope you have a wonderful week, Jovita!

  4. I adored Geekerella. And I'm trying to convince myself to read It, but I just can't bring myself to it. Neither will I watch the movie I guess. It's just not my genre.
