Inky’s Spring HoneyPOP Blog Hop!

Welcome to Inky’s Spring HoneyPOP Blog Hop!

If you came here from the very talented Keri Lee Sereika's blog, Pink Lemonade you're in the right spot. If not, you'll want to start at Inky Antics blog and work your way through the group so you don't miss anything!

The blog hop starts today and ends on Sunday, February 27th at midnight Central time. Please visit each DT members’ blog to view their projects and leave a comment for each designer. The more you comment, the better your chances are to win. (Limit one comment per blog, please). Two people’s names will be drawn at random to receive a surprise Inky HoneyPOP prize pack. The winners’ names will be announced on the Inky Antics blog next Monday, so remember to stop back and see if you’ve won.

Today I'm sharing two cards I made using the set Teacup Mouse HoneyPOP and for the HoneyPOP surprise card I used the Lilac Honeycomb Paper, which you can find on this page: http://www.inkyantics.com/honeypop.htm

For this card I stamped the mouse image onto cream color cardstock, colored her with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Gamsol. I paper pieced her dress using the same designer paper that was used on the bottom layer of the card. For the inside surprise... I used the Lilac Honeycomb Paper to create the 3-D teacup.

For the second card, I used the same mouse head, handle and plate stamps that I used inside the previous card, instead of using the Honeycomb Paper I used the teacup stamp that comes in the set. The HoneyPOP stamps sets are very versatile and can be used for any cards and not just with the Honeycomb Paper. The mouse image was colored using Copic Sketch Markers and cut using Spellbinders Circle & Scalloped Circle Dies. I also used Spellbinders Oval & Scalloped Ovals to create the tag as well.
