Inky/Tombow Blog Hop

Welcome to the Inky Antics & Tombow Blog Hop! My talented Inky colleagues and I have teamed up with the nice folks at Tombow, and we’re all featuring projects made with Inky Antics stamps and Tombow products.

It’s likely that you’ve come from Michelle's blog, Inspiration Blooms, if not, you’ll want to go there in order to have another chance of winning.

The blog hop starts today and ends on Sunday, July 24th at midnight Central time. Please visit each DT members’ blog to view their project and leave feedback. The more you comment, the better your chances are to win (limit one comment per blog, please). One person’s name will be drawn at random to receive a fun Inky/Tombow prize pack, similar to what each of our designers received to make their projects! The lucky winner’s name will be announced on the Inky Antics blog next Monday, so remember to stop back there and see if you’ve won.

Today I'm sharing a card I made using Inky Antics clear stamp set, Delightful Dogs #2 (10978MC). I stamped the image onto 90lb watercolor paper using black pigment ink and then embossed it using clear detail embossing powder.

Delightful Dogs

I then used Tombow Markers to color in the edges of the image and used a waterbrush to spread out the color. I have been a fan of Tombow Markers for years and especially enjoy using them with watercolor paper to give that watercolored look.

I used both Tombow's Mono Multi and Mono Aqua liquid glue to adhere all my papers together. Why both glues? I LOVE the Mono Multi (it's another Tombow product that I've been using for years) and my package included Mono Aqua of course I had to give it a try... now I love that too!

I also used Tombow's 3D Foam Tabs to pop my puppy image up from the card. In the package you get both a large and small sheet of foam tabs.

Now that you’ve probably visited all of the stops along the hop, be sure to visit the Inky Antics blog for the final details on your possibility for winning your own Inky/Tombow prize pack! To check out what the Tombow designers have made and get another chance to win prizes, please visit the Tombow Blog.

Also, Inky Antics is still running our HoneyPOP Summer Challenge (until 23 July). To play along, you can make a card, a 3-D item, or whatever else you dream up using a HoneyPOP creation. We'll be giving away THREE $25 gift certificates for Inky stamps. Prizes will be awarded to (1) our designers' favorite project, (2) the project that receives the most votes during the last week of July, and (3) a participant's project that is chosen randomly from a drawing at the end of July.

Best Wishes to each of you and thank you for visiting!
