Inky Antics Binding System Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Inky Antics Binding System Blog Hop! The talented Inky designers are featuring projects made with the CarlaCraft Binding System. If you've been following from the beginning and you’ve come from Debbie's blog, you're in the right spot. If not, be sure to start at Inky Antics blog.

The blog hop starts today and ends on Sunday, July 3rd at midnight Central time. Please visit each DT members’ blog to view their project and leave feedback. The more you comment, the better your chances are to win. (Limit one comment per blog, please). One person’s name will be drawn at random to receive a CarlaCraft Binding System and coil assortment. The lucky winner’s name will be announced on the Inky Antics blog next Monday, so remember to stop back and see if you’ve won.

Birthday Petey & Marlene

I created two birthday calendars for this month's Inky Antics blog hop. For the first calendar I used the image 10503H Birthday Petey which was colored using Copic's. I added Glossy Accents to the ice cubes and Stickles to the birthday hats and then mounted the image using Pop Dots. The wording "birthday wishes 2012" was computer generated. All the designer paper is from the Journey paper pad from Authentique, loving the pretty shades of blue.

For the second calendar I used the image 10654K Marlene. I paper pieced her dress using the same designer paper as the lower section and Marlene was also colored using Copic's. All the designer paper is from the Basic Grey's Hopscotch paper pad.

Birthday Calendar

You can download the "Create a Calendar" 2012 template HERE at SCS and for other calendar templates make sure to visit Cat's Creations for more feebies, thank you Cat.

You have to watch the video to see how easy this binding system is to use. It's portable, inexpensive, and one of my new favorite gadgets. Thank you for stopping by, your next stop will be to visit Crystal's blog.
