My goodbye to stamping??!!

I made this card in October and here it is already December and I’m barley posting it… I’ve turned into a blogging slacker lol. In all honesty this will probably be the last card that I do post (or at least post for quite some time).

As most of you know I hadn’t stamped for about ten month, had no desire. In October I gave stamping a try one more time. I even bought new House Mouse and Happy Hopper stamps and goodies from Stampin Up… I made four cards and my new stamps have never been inked! Just making those four cards was a struggle… I’m just not into it anymore! I’ve been seriously thinking about selling all my stamps and supplies, I just wouldn’t know where to start and just thinking about it gives me a headache… lol.

Even though I wouldn’t be blogging about stamping, I’m sure that I will still blog about my motorcycle adventures, my piano journey or whatever it is that interests me. For those of you that subscribe to Inky Impressions by email I will understand your feelings if you decided to unsub. Since my blog Inky Impressions has turned into a little this and that I’m considering changing the name… so don’t be surprised if you stop by and see a different blog name (any suggestions would be greatly appreciated) ;) Until next time thanks for visiting ~ Jovi

  3. AAAwww Jovi, you are such a wonderful, wonderful stamper. I just hate to see you quit. This card is very beautiful. Your work is always perfect. If I were you, I would not make any decisions about your stamping things yet, unless you need the storage space for something else. What does it hurt if you just keep your things - who knows, maybe when you're an old lady like me you may want to pull it all out and get into it again. I go through my periods of thinking I'll quit too, but my reasons are different than yours. Even though I love to stamp I'm just not the accomplished stamper you are. But I really, really enjoy it, so for now, I'm still at it. I just now listed 34 things on Ebay to sell that I never use (and all but 3 sold). But I have so many more stamp sets that I could never part with. And I will keep subscribing to you. I always enjoy reading whatever you write about. Sending you a big hug!

  4. I wouldn't get rid of ALL of the stamping supplies just yet. I go through spurts of creativity myself. I would keep some of it...just incase you get the Mojo back. I will still be here if you are...love to see all your wonderful photos of all the bike adventures! :0)

  5. Cute card! I know how you fell about the stamping thing. I haven't stamping on over a year and have been thinking about selling my stuff too. There are other hobbies that I'm looking at doing and stamping just has held no appeal to me.

As for a new blog name how about Jovi's Wild Ride. Sounds like you are on a wild ride through life with riding, music, and such.

  7. I,too, will miss your beautiful cards. Don't give up on the craft supplies just yet. You've got a lot invested and I'd hate for you to lose it all. Of course if you just MUST re-home your HM stamps, you know who to call. ;)
