Fall Into Reading 2009

Fall is finally here, although it feels like winter here in Colorado… cold and snowy! Katrina at Callapidder Days has come up with the perfect challenge to celebrate the season. She is hosting another reading challenge, Fall Into Reading 2009. I participated in her Spring into Reading challenge and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join along for another.

For this challenge you put together a list of books you want to read between September 22 and December 20 and then simply read them. Your list can be as long or as short as you’d like and you can modify at any time during the challenge. This is a low-pressure challenge that should be fun. You can join along at anytime during the challenge and you can sign up at: Fall Into Reading 2009.

I have chosen to read eleven twelve thirteen books by our 20 December deadline. As of today my list is relatively short compared to others that are participating in the challenge. I’m sure once I visit more participants blogs, more will be added.

Happy reading and thanks for visiting ~ Jovi

  1. I dare to say how long it's been since I have sat down to read a book...I read all day long at work! The last vacation I took, I read a whole book from cover to cover and it was wonderful...good luck on your journey!

  2. I could never read 11 books by that date! I'm a slow stamper and a slow reader. I do highly recommend the book I mentioned the other day that my daughter gave me - The Help. I'm 3/4 the way through and am enjoying it very much. If you'd like to read it I'd be happy to loan it to you - it's a hardback.

  3. Thanks Susie for the suggestion, I've noticed that The Help by Kathryn Stockett is on many of the participants reading list. Maybe I'll add it to my winter reading list ;)
