Patty

When my Great Impression order arrived and I was so excited to make a card using this image, Pumpkin Patch Patty. Isn’t she the cutest? I’ll definitely be posting more cards using this image… right now she’s my favorite autumn stamp.

This is the first card I made and this one is Riley’s favorite, she likes the bright colors and the swirly strip. Lately I’ve noticed cards that use a swirly die cut behind the image or in corners and I really liked how it gives the card that little extra embellishment. While at Archivers last week I came across this Sizzlits Die and I was so thrilled I had to buy right then… Now that I think of it I should have waited so I could have used an Archivers coupon this week… but in all honesty… waiting is something that I’m not very good at. The Sunflower textured cardstock is from Close to My Heart and the opposite side is a lighter shade of Sunflower… how cool is that? It also has a white core just like the regular CMTH cardstock. For this card I embossed the image on to watercolor paper and then used Tombow & CTMH Markers to color the image.

The second card I made is my favorite of the two… I like them both but I think it’s more my style, simple with muted colors. I added Diamond Stickles to the leaves to give it a little sparkle. This image was colored using Prismacolor Pencil which was then blended with Gamsol.

Thanks for visiting ~ Jovi
