Snoopy’s Chopper

This is one of my favorite motorcycle stamps that I’ve had for some time and do you believe this is the first time it’s been inked?! I have a bunch of wonderful stamps that have never been used… I need to stamp more or maybe buy less (gasp)!

I made this thank you card for Karla who led our group on the HD 5 in 1 Poker Run. I enjoy riding with Karla and I learn new things just from watching her ride… and she’s a great lady.

Snoopy’s Chopper started out purple, since Karla rides a purple and black Victory… I didn’t have any deep purples to match her bike, the purples I did have looked pastel-ish. I then re-stamped Snoopy and colored the chopper yellow, Karla once mentioned that her original plan was to get a yellow Victory. I didn’t like the way the yellow blended with the flames! I took a break and in the meantime my neighbor brought over my CTMH order… in that order I had this wonderful Reflection Kit, Sarsaparilla. In the end I matched Snoopy’s Chopper to the Sarsaparilla colors. I embossed the Snoopy image with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder to give it more sparkle.

Thanks for visiting ~ Jovi

Stamps: Snoopy’s Chopper (Stampabilities) ~ Ink: Colorbox Black Pigment Ink ~ Paper: Watercolor, Barn Red (CTMH), Twilight (CTMH), Sarsaparilla Reflection Kit (CTMH) ~ Other: Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Tombow Markers, CTMH Markers, Designer Twilight Ribbon (CTMH), Thank You Charm
