I Have Nestabilities!

I finally purchased my first set of Nestabilities. I was at Simple Pleasures (my local rubber stamp store) this week browsing at some of their new products when I happen to notice a set of Oval Nestabilities… it was the last set they had in stock. Simple Pleasures only sells the complete sets and they weren’t expecting more in for another 30 days. I’ve seen so many beautiful cards made with the scallops that I couldn’t resist.

Once I brought them home I had no idea had to use them. I did a quick search at Splitcoast for tutorials on how to sandwich using Nestabilities and my Big Shot and found a wonderful video tutorial. After playing around and making a few cuts I had to find a way to store them, I couldn’t leave them in the big bulky four pack they came in. I happened to have small magnetic sheets, a few empty jewel cases and a label marker. I now store my Nesties with my Cuttlebug Folders, once my collection of Nestabilites grow I’ll have a separate container for just those.

I came across some of these other storage ideas… take a look:

  1. Yay!! Congrats on your first Nesties purchase!! You will use them on just about every card!! I just got my 3rd set & LOVE them!! I store mine exactly like you do, although I am looking at the Quikkutz magnetic folders ~ they have them at my LSS AND they are 10% off *today only*. I'm supposed to be watching my pennies, but *today only* ~ who can resist?? LOL!!

  2. Jovi, you are going to love them! I use mine (along with my Cuttlebug) nearly every card I make. I'm saving my $$$ for the new shapes. Oh some beautiful inspiration is out there for the Nestabilities and I'm sure you will soon be a leader in inspirations using them too.

  3. You lucky thing, I want some of these even though I have a Craft Robo I am going back to the die cutters. I find the Wizard hurts me if I emboss so I am going to try my pre nestabilities ovals in the Zipemate to see if that is better or I will need the Xcaliber!
