Christmas Mice

I had a little extra time to play with some new stamps that I bought last week from my local stamp store (Simple Pleasures). I went to SP to pick up some Basic Grey paper… which I needed for another display for Inky Antics (Yippee… I’ll share more about that next week). They didn’t have the pattern I was looking for so I went to Archiver’s. While I was at SP I couldn’t help but look at the stamps. I came across these little Christmas Mice (Great Impressions) and had to buy it (along with others). I’ve always had a weakness for any of the Great Impressions mouse stamps!

It’s been so long since I participated in a SCS Sketch Challenge, I had new stamps to play with… this is the card I made for Sketch Challenge 150. The image is stamped on Cream Cardstock, it looks white in the larger photo. I dipped a waterbrush into Craft White refill to paint the snow and the hat trim white. I also scribbled into the white with a Stardust Gelly Pen and then used the waterbrush to blend it into the white ink. I then added Gemstones to the centers of the larger snowflakes. Aren’t the little mice adorable?

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend ~ Jovi

  1. How cute are those mice?

BTW, I forgot to tell you...DH let me make a list to order from HMstamps for Christmas, so I ordered a bunch of Happy Hoppers, and one of the HM stamps that was SOTM a couple years back - We're Mint Tea with them in the stripey teapot. Can't wait to get my hands on those bunnies! Maybe later on we can swap images again if I get some you don't have.
