I'm officially a bad blogger!

I’ve just had a lot of things going on this past week and nothing really exciting to share! I did make a huge decision last week about TAC, and I’ve already shared that news with my customers… everyone in blogosphere (a cool term from Jenns blog) will have to wait for the news!

I spent yesterday morning making some really cute & simple cards for some members of the House Mouse Group. I feel bad about sending out a “mass produce” card, but since I’ve been behind on BRAKs I thought they would still enjoy it.

For this set of cards I used the House Mouse stamp Make a Wish. I used White Liquid Appliqué and Glass Beads (Clear and Blue) to make the frosting look so yummy. While the Liquid Appliqué was still wet I added the Glass Beads and pushed them down a bit with my finger, then I heated the Liquid Appliqué. There it is… frosting with sprinkles that look good enough to eat!

Stamps: Make A Wish (House Mouse/Stampabilities) ~ Ink: Noir (Palette) ~ Paper: White, White Bazzill, Bashful Blue (SU), Key Lime (CTMH) ~ Other: Cuddlebug Happy Birthday Folder, Lt Green & Lt Blue Brads, Liquid Appliqué, Chalk, Blue & Clear Glass Beads, Prismacolor Pencils & Gamsol, Dots, Dashes & Checks Ribbon

  4. What a cute card! Is the liquid applique/glass bead technique hard to do? The results are wonderful, and I love your coloring of the mice. Thanks for sharing.
