Sketch Challenge's

I completed a couple of challenges today… yippee for me! Riley and Austin had another Snow Day from school so they also did crafts while I finished working on these. I tried to take photos of my cards outside today, the weather wasn’t cooperating. The wind kept blowing the cards over and I was afraid that they would get wet when they fell into the snow. I’m really surprised how well the pictures came out on my coffee table!

My first sketch challenge is from ASB, Challenge #68. The teddy bear stamp is from the set The Best Way from CTMH. I had a lot of extra white showing around him, so I softened up the white background with some pink chalk (thanks Dina for that tip). This paper is also from the Paper Salon, KN Serenity Collection (delicate glitter stripe & mosaic). I think it coordinates wonderfully with the Bazzill cardstock.

My second sketch challenge is from SCS, Challenge #120. Last weeks sketch... I’m about a week late on this one! I wanted to use the same Paper Salon Collection for this card, but it didn’t work out. After I colored my image the purple flowers didn’t look all that great with the pink, that’s when I made the decision to change the entire color & paper design. I’m pretty pleased with the end results. By the way, this is one of my new stamps that came in the mail last week from HM Stamps, Spring Blossoms (March Design of the Month).
