New Rubber

My order from HM Stamps came ... talk about quick shipping, Dick sent my order out Friday and I was so excited and surprised to see it in my mailbox yesterday (Monday). I can’t wait to get my little mice and bunnies inked, maybe today.

I’m in the process of putting my stamp area back together, I did a little spring cleaning and purging of some older supplies. If I can’t actually stamp, rearranging comes close! Playing musical beds (minus the music) led me to rearranging my stamp area.

This last weekend Riley and Austin decide that they wanted a change in their rooms. Austin no longer wanted to sleep on the top of his bunk bed, apparently he did like it anymore because it was difficult for him to make in the morning (AJ’s a neat freak… like mommy and daddy). I didn’t hesitate… I said okay! I absolutely hate bunk beds, every week when I change sheets I would complain and cuss about that bunk bed. I was happy to see it go and AJ now has a regular twin bed! Riley had a queen size bed since she was about 4. A few months back she wanted to have more floor space in her room and that led to her getting a day bed (another kind of bed I hate)! Now she wanted to have her queen bed back, which was stored in our basement, which led me to rearranging my stamp room, which is in the basement! Maybe I’ll have some pictures to post of my area one day.

I did manage to make one card before the rearranging began. This is the card I made for Dick (HM Stamps). I had to mail my payment in a Happy Hopper of House Mouse card… right? It’s more on the girly side, but I’m sure Patty (Dick’s better ½) would enjoy it! The stamp is Buzzy Friends from Happy Hoppers and I used Buttercup Brads on the tips of their antennas… aren’t they cute?!

Trudy from ASB has already posted this weeks Sketch Challenge # 67, so hopefully I’ll have another card to share later!

Stamps: Buzzy Friends (HM-Happy Hoppers/Stampabilities) ~ Ink: Noir Palette ~ Paper: Sonata (CTMH), Flamingo (Bazzill), White ~ Other: Buttercup Brads (CTMH), Sakura Stardust Gelly Pen, Prismacolor Pencils & Gamsol, Edge Distresser

  1. AGH! I love your new House Mouse stamps!!!! I WISH they offered them unmounted - I'd have several more! (I'm a cheapskate LOL). But on the other hand, it's probably a good thing! heehee

  3. I ordered a bunch of the new Happy Hoppers line a few months ago and love them. Just used one for a swap. But it took forever to get them-so no 3-4 day delivery for me. It took three weeks just to send it out and another week to get it as no one comes out this way. I Had free shipping, so they sent it parcel post I think. I love the stamps but missed the cut off for one project. I dont think I will need any more for a while.
