SCS Sketch Challenge

I finished my Sketch Challenge (SC106) today… hooray for me! I’ve only used definition stamps as a background and never as the main image, so I’m pretty excited with the end results!

This card took me FOREVER to make! I couldn’t decide which ribbon I wanted to use and what size spiral clip. When I finally made my ribbon choice, I couldn’t make a knot that I was happy with… so I retied over and over and over. Finally I said “what the heck” (using nice language for my readers), I just looped it through!

I also had problems getting the Inspire definition centered. I really wanted to get it centered on my own… I have no idea why, and for those of you that know me personally… you all know how stubborn I can be! LOL After cutting and stamping 5+ times I reached for my Stamp Positioner and had it centered the first time!

My Stamp Positioner does the same thing as the Stamp-a-majig, but it is a lot nicer to work with… it has a larger corner cove. I picked it up through CTMH before they switched to the clear stamps.

Anyway… The stamps & papers are all from TAC. Stamp sets, Well Defined Backgrounds & Flourishes. The really pretty patterned paper is from the Fly With It Collection, Genevieve.

  2. Dude! You've been my 'new friend' for a week, and I *just* realised you have a blog!!!! Hahaha! And you're a TAC Angel! Woot! *starts making wish list*

That is SUCH a lovely card, Jovi! That paper is breathtaking! Love the flourishes! I think the elegance of both the papers and the flourishes make a stunning & balanced effect against the sentiment. Coolness.
